This service at Ohio Laser is particularly valuable for clients who do not have the space to store copious amounts of parts or who prefer just-in-time deliveries. Ohio Laser can store high-volume parts before releasing them based on the demand requirement for that week, every two weeks, or every month.
Ohio Laser Stock and Release Process
Blanket Purchase Orders (PO)
The blanket purchase orders ensure that customers can forecast the number of parts needed over a given amount of time (e.g., monthly or yearly).
Pre-Production and Storage
Ohio Laser is responsible for manufacturing parts well in advance while storing them in their facility, while customers can request parts as needed. These specific parts are pre-cut at Ohio Laser and put in holding areas to stock for our customers to then release them based on the importance of demand.
Stocking Containers
Ohio Laser utilizes color-coded containers at their facility to differentiate between parts while managing the release of the schedule effectively. All six plastic returnable containers are color-coded for six parts.
