Part Review and Pre-Production Planning.  The fabrication process at Ohio Laser begins with careful planning and thoughtful part review.  Ohio Laser utilizes sophisticated CAD software to ensure customer drawings are manufactured to print and are within our manufacturing capabilities.  Once parts are reviewed by Ohio Laser engineers and approved by our customer, our pre-production planning begins.  This phase includes the creation of a Bill of Materials (BOM) and a Work Order (WO) to guide the fabrication process for accurate production scheduling. Both documents ensure that all production parts  are fabricated to meet the highest standards while complying with project specifications.

Procurement of Materials at Ohio Laser are sourced utilizing the detailed BOM to prepare for the fabrication process. Ohio Laser works hand-in-hand with approved high-quality structural steel suppliers to source materials dictated by the customer print. We ensure the highest quality of steel tensile strength and durability to meet project requirements. Upon arrival of raw materials, they are reviewed by our Receiving Team to ensure the correct materials are delivered.

Flat Laser and Tube laser Cutting: Ohio Laser excels as a company with the use of Trumpf tube lasers, Mazak jumbo tube lasers and fiber flat laser cutting technology.  Our equipment and operational expertise create customer parts  with extreme accuracy. These types of advanced laser systems allow for six-axis cutting; meaning steel can then be shaped and cut at complex angles without the loss of precision.

Fiber Flat Laser Cutting: This type of advanced cutting design is ideal for flat steel sheets or plates, ensuring clean, burr-free cuts. The fiber flat laser system reduces the need for secondary processing, ensuring that time is saved while maintaining the integrity of the material  during the cutting process

Structural steel fabrication processes are rooted in quality. After parts are fabricated to print, each part undergoes rigorous inspection as outlined by our customer specifications.

We have the ability to add protective coatings, like painting, powder coating, and/or galvanizing, each preventing corrosion while enhancing durability.

When the fabrication process is complete, Ohio Laser delivers the steel components directly to the desired location.
